簽名行動 - 要求港府加強監管寵物店及寵物繁殖者

本人強烈要求港府加強監管寵物店及寵物繁殖者。
現時的寵物店缺乏監管，動物常受到不人道對待，有缺德之徒，更將動物當作繁殖機器，要牠們不停繁殖以轉售圖利；一些場地環境衛生惡劣，動物百病叢生；而且，政府又一直不監管網上、雜誌等銷售渠道，令寵物店監管形同虛設；上述問題在在損害動物權益，對消費者來說亦無法得到有效的保障。
本人要求政府加強規管寵物出售及寵物來源，並效法澳洲新南威爾斯、日本、台灣等地，採取出以下的措施：
1. 寵物店必須登記及保存動物來源、以及客戶資料，以追查寵物去向；
2. 立例要求所有從事商業活動的寵物繁殖者必須領牌；
3. 定明患有遺傳病等動物不可作繁殖用途，避免動物下一代受不必要痛苦；
4. 擴展監管至所有寵物銷售渠道，包括網上、雜誌等等；
5. 所有寵物店職員必須參與政府舉辦的動物基本知識課程。

I strongly urge the Hong Kong Government to strengthen the regulations on
pet shop industry to enhance the welfare status of animals in the city.
I demand the Government
1..to mandatory require the pet shops to keep all the records of their pet
animals, including the source of the animal, to whom and to where it is sold
2.to introduce a licensing system on breeders who has any interest in
business activities in Hong Kong.
3.to ban commercially reproduction of genetic-diseased pets.
4.to regulate all means of pets’ sales channels, including the internet and
magazines.
5.to conduct compulsory basic training course to the staff of the pet shop
industry.
